The fall/ winter season is here again , a season to be more aware of your hair treatment routine.

The fall/ winter season is a time to carefully nurture your hair healthily to prevent dryness and breakage.

There are so many things that cause dryness, hair loss and much more . One major thing is lack of hair treatment. Knowing what treatment is good for the hair and knowing how often this treatment is to be done is very important.

Types of hair treatment to be done during fall/ winter season are;
Deep conditioning.
Moisturizing treatment.
Hot oil treatment

You do not want to neglect these types of hair treatment during this season, they help to restore hair nutrients lost during the season due to harshness of the weather, they help seal in moisture in your hair to prevent dryness which results in breakage or hair loss.

How often to do hair treatment;
Weekly- this depends on how damaged the hair is, for example over processed hair:
-Chemically relaxed
-Permed
-Bleached
-Permanently color-treated
-Extremely damaged and dry

Bi-weekly- This depends on state of the here, if there is not much damage like the over processed hair or if the hair improved at the initial stage of weekly treatment.

Monthly- Protein hair treatment can be done monthly.

Designer makeup tool brushes

I purchased these two makeup brushes at the image expo event. At events like that cosmetics are usually half the price or really less than the actual price, I walked to this stand where there were so many makeup brushes displayed, for me I love love makeup brushes and I can't seem to buy enough of them. I was kind of wary about the cosmetic company because I never heard of them until then and I was wondering what the brushes would feel like? I asked for the prices and they were so cheap, the pencil crease brush was ( I think ...) $7.... And the special shader brush which is the blending brush was $5.85. Their prices online is not so different from the sales at the image expo event, just a $1 or $2 difference. I only purchased just that set got home and tried it, it was as good as the MAC 's 217 and 219 brushes.The second( and last day) day of the event I purchased 2 more set. I have been using this brushes since then, I washed it, it didn't shed. The hair just felt a little different but still good. it still serves its purpose and i use this brushes everyday and im really loving it.
I would give this product a 4 ****star rating just because of the way the brushes felt after washing them. It can be compared to the MAC 217 and 219 brushes and for makeup starters that don't want to invest so much money into makeup brushes, they can purchase their brushes.

Sephora anti shine primer

Sometimes last 2month I went to sephora just to look around for any new product and I stumbled on this aisle that they had some of their products on sale and there I saw the Anti shine primer and I thought the price was a giveaway and there was no harm trying it ($5) . Believe me when I say I do not regret buying it, it is so good and gives my foundation and powder a matte finish.
I have a very oily facial skin and I have tried so many products even some matte powder and they just don't work for me until I found sephora anti shine although Its written on the pack that it last up to 8hrs but after 8 hrs it's still good on me.
I give this product a 5 star ***** and I recommend to anyone with oily skin as a foundation primer
I also applied it on my lid before my eyeshadow base once ( because i have oily eyelid, I was so careful about it because I didn't want it to get it into my eyes) and it really worked and my eyeshadow didn't crease. I will start using it for that purpose too.
If you have been contemplating buying the sephora anti shine you can go ahead and purchase it. It's worth the price

Designer makeup tool review

This look was created using the designer makeup tool palette.
I purchased this palette @image expo show held in Houston tx, I was so hesitant buying this palette because I never heard of it and couldn't trust it.
The deep bold colors kept luring me to try and buy some of it and finally I gave in to it, I will say I do not regret purchasing their eyeshadow palette, it's very pigmented and for the deal @ the image expo show its pricelessz,
I will recommend this to anyone interested. Try to get good eyeshadow base

Mary Kay cosmetic- lemon grass eyeshadow and mango tango lip gloss

This look was created using mary Kay cosmetic.
Foundation - matte wear bronze 2
Eyeshadow - lemongrass
Lipgloss- mango tango
Lipliner- chocolate

It's a simple look that is so easy to recreate asides that the eyeshadows are so pigmented.
Mary Kay cosmetic company has new eyeshadow and other cosmetic line to really rave about not because I'm a Mary Kay independent beauty consultant but a lot of my clients and a lot of people that have tried the new edition of Mary Kay cosmetic can testify to it.

Stepping out Nigeria style/ makeup

Coastal Scents 42 Color Double Stack Shadow and Blush, Matte

I love bold colors!! i love Coastal scents 42 double stack eyeshadow pallete, this is my first pallete from coastal scents,gorgeous eyeshadow colors, it also came with a set of 10 blushes. I have watched so many videos, heard so much about their palettes but never bought or thought of buying one, I was searching a website for a bold, beautiful pallete that was not to expensive when i came across coastal scents and purchased it online. when my pallete arrived i fell in love with coastal scents and purchased 4 more palettes from them including the "42 double stack eyeshadow and blush,shimmer". This is a set of bold, beautiful colors in matte, highly pigmented and very good quality for the price, i could not believe it when i started trying different looks with these pallete. I love their color payoff and the fact that their products are so affordable that you don't have to break the bank, although there are some colors in this pallete that are chalky but not so bad, you will need to either apply a concealer on your eyelid or a very good primer like urban decay primer portion or other quality primer to provide a good lasting look. If you are just starting off as a makeup artist or you are a lover of makeups, I recommend this, if you are a pro makeup artist i also recommend this.

Wet and Wild baked eyeshadow

I created this look using the wet and wild baked eyeshadow (baked-off contest). a drugstore cosmetic, you can find in drugstores like walgreens, CVS. These baked eyeshadow, can either be used wet or dry but i will suggest using it wet because you will get the color payoff better that way. wet and wild cosmetic company is one of the very best drugstore cosmetic, i love all their eyeshadows and i really purchased a whole bunch of their cosmetics ranging from the coloricon, baked eyeshadows, lipliners , lipcolors etc. and they are worth every penny you spend on them, they are pigmented and their are some MAC dupes in them (MAC cosmetics). I will definitely recommend their products to anyone.

March favorites series (pt 1)

I'm loving maybelline 24hr tattoo eye shadows, colors are vibrant and lasting. you can either wear it as a creme eye shadow or wear it as a base. for those who cant afford MAC paint pot this is something to try and it works as much as MAC paint pot does.

How often should you get facial / facial massage

If you have acne or a lot of blackheads or whiteheads that need to be cleared out, then once every week or two is not too much until your skin has improved. Once you're in maintenance mode, every four to six weeks is ideal.

What is Facial Masking?

This is a condition that can affect bronze/ ebony skin tones. This means the skin may be darker in the outer edges of the face and lighter in the interior of the face.
To correct this it will take two shades of foundation.

First step: you will have to do a stripe test to find out the two shades of foundation that when applied to your face it will provide a more even skin tone.
To conduct a stripe test,it must be in a natural light test from your jaw down onto your neck because you want to match your neck. The shade that matches your neck is the right shade for you.

Second step: Apply the lighter shade of foundation to the darker areas on your face.

Third step: Apply the darker shade of foundation to the darker areas on your face.

Fourth step: Apply your correct shade of foundation and it will make your skin look even and flawless.
Thereafter set the foundation with the right shade of powder.
